I wonder how the old Night digital camo that S.O.F. rocked during Gulf War 1 would work? I know it was meant for the old school soviet night vision supplied to the Iraqis but would it help hide a person from the gen 1 stuff or the cheap stuff meant for hunters?

I have been looking for some to test.  One of the TNVC guys says he likes it and that is a pretty good accolade (they do a lot of NV testing/training)

I lost my old list of surplus sites. I'll see if I can find it again because I think I found a place that had the parkas going for about $25. I believe tactical assault gear has clothing that is DCU and can be turned inside out so you can wear night desert. Its expensive though. About $125 bucks for the jacket.

Nevermind. It depends on the size you want but the price can be pretty decent considering it is gore-tex. Its clearance though.

Actually I've been having good luck with multicam.  So far it is my favorite IR cammo pattern.  It's not the best for summer around here but it will do.  One of the Parkas would be nice to test, but to hot to wear like 9 months out of the year around here.
