This pretty much says it all, listen up guys I know we all have our morals, our do's and our do not's. But when fighting a superior force, This is what needs to be done. Some time's you must step out side of your morals for the better of your family & your group, also your self.

-Reaver's Words-This goes hand in hand with the very first topic on this post. Many disagree and I admit its probably not the cleanest or healthiest of all things to do.
But what I want you to do is, Put your self in those heartless PMC's boots. Or the commanders boots.
knowing that, there is absolutely nothing you can do about the enemies ambushes, and every time you lose a guy, he gets dragged off into the woods only to be found with his scalp cut off.
Now back to your shoes. What do you think would be a good idea to do with the scalp? Use what you have learned so far... I know what I'm doing.
I'm going to collect them, not for sick or weird reasons. But what would you do as the commander when some patrol that didn't get hit brings in a shoe box filled with scalps?
Pretty demoralizing isn't it? Your men. that you couldn't protect. that have families. that couldn't have an open coffin because the top of his head was missing. Now in your office on your maps of the AO, their scalps lie.
Think about it gents. Long and hard. It sucks, & its going to be nasty... but war is hell get the fuck over it. Nut the fuck up and get the damn job done. Its the only way.

This is hand in hand with all of the above. A simple toe popper. ( Take a bullet, bury a plate or hardened surface. Place nail on top of it straight up, place bullet with only tip sticking slightly above ground. When someone steps on it. It WILL disable that person, and depending on how it goes up could kill them. )

But the effect it has on the troops is MASSIVE, MASSIVE.
think about it. if your worried about stepping on a simple toe popper where are you looking? the ground? or the area your supposed to be scanning? Human nature says protect your self correct. THEY WILL LOOK DOWN, and that could be your chance to do as you so may please. Engage. Runaway. Hide.

I'd like to quote Burt Gummer from a past Blog TV, I was co-hosting and it was brought up. That militia's aren't really a good idea, Yes they have their place. But in order to win the fight that's ahead. WE MUST ACT AS INDIVIDUAL CELLS.
Trust me we all have the same agenda.  the way I see it. Why should I hang out in your community? If I can provide for myself and my family? If I'm found, yes me and my family dies but not yours correct? now visa versa if your found, you and your family dies along with 8 other families.
Why?
Why risk it?
I will take my chances as an individual cell off by myself any day.


The main focus for this guys, is not for a super cool note above my name, or an IFAK.
I hope I helped you guys somewhat or at least given you some idea's.
Guys we CANNOT WIN THIS CONVENTIONALLY! Be realistic, its NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! The only way is to break the will of the enemy. It is the only way.

I think it coes down to that moral compass thing we talk about from time to time. People look at their own compass and see the needle is pointing to thier tru north in the good times. its when the bad times come a callin that the needle moves to its new direction and the things that should not be are pulled out from the dark places inside of us. its then that we are able to embrace the darkness that will allow us to protect that which matters. I personally think your just ahead of the compass curve. And as for me, I like to keep those thoughts in the dark places and visit it quietly and frequently when no one is looking.  I just see you giving voice to what we all think of. But not everyone is going to add to that voice even though they silently agree and know the truth in their own hearts. I for one consider the use of Phsy ops on a regular basis. The U.S. military has to carry on no matter the horrors inflicted upon them. The dumbass gangbangers down the street however!!! well lets just say im not afraid to leave a msg. "I AM ALOT WORSE THAN YOU ASSHOLE"

I think that most of us aren't saying anything because there really isn't too much to add. You comprehensively covered the topic sufficiently, IMO.

I agree with using scare tactics to defend yourself, and also to deal with hostiles whose function seems to be raiders or the like. If you don't need to worry about identifying your territory (aka, you are with an experienced, well-equipped group in a good defensible position), you could take the bodies of the enemy's fallen and put them on crucifixes, or put the heads on spikes/poles, on main approaches to your location.

If you're operating as individual cells, then this would require intensive physical effort as well as broadly identifying your AO, which are both horrible ideas for an individual. Scalping is an option, as is removing fingers/toes and then finding creative ways to return those to the enemy. You might even tries eyeballs, but those are squishy and gross (moreso than the others) and may not last long enough to be effective. Of course, if you're a purple people eater, eyeballs are just a tasty snack while you're scalping a corpse.
