Be sure to check out the Dipper's reputation. They can really fuck up a job if you let them.

You live in the back woods. What makes you think multicam is going to work? Fucking spray paint your gun to match your environment.

Hey buddy, that isn't helpful.

Adjust your attitude and try again.

Sorry I'm a little stir crazy, and pissed. Bwb Spray paint on a rifle works. It does not work on a pistol. When choosing a camo pattern you need to figure out where you live, then spry paint the pattern on the rifle.

I would want it to look professional, ive camoed my turkey gun but i want my arsenal to look good, but them spray paint is way cheaper. i could use the money i save for ammo?

If your doing it to make the rifle look cool then sure - but as TG wrote make damn sure you check the dippers work.  I saw a bow that was done by a supposedly excellent company that looked like total crap.  If you're doing it to blend in with the environment rattlecan that badboy and spend the extra bucks you save on mags and ammo.

i just want to say this to everyone buying up multi cam and other bdu's

we live in a country where they literally design camouflage patterns just for our countries environments

multi cam is pretty good, but realtree hardwoods was specifically designed for where i will be AND ITS SOOO MUCH CHEAPER

its not as sexy but it works way better is way cheaper and can be found anywhere even walmart

I agree with mtn. but everyone has their preferences. (I do like me some multicam but the Realtree-style natural patters are indeed more effective FOR THICK WOODS!! and thick woods only) BWB, I'd say if you want a good professional duracoated look, I'd buy a duracoat kit and (like everyone else said) match your surroundings. just because you buy a kit doesn't mean you have to go with a common preset color scheme like multicam. take your digital camera out to wherever your BOL is and take dozens and dozens of landscape pics, and another few dozen pics inside the thick brush. I'd also suggest doing this more than once at different times of day to get different light. take your pics home and review review review, and then figure out what color scheme you want to go with.

hope this helps.

If they know what they are doing, heck yes, do it.  Those multicam dips look awesome man.  I've seen one recently done well and it looked awesome.

Go to Jo-Ann fabrics, buy 10 yards of burlap, and spray-paint it to match your AO.  Wrap your rifle.  Any leftover burlap can be used to wrap and camo anything you can imagine.  I promise you won't lose your "man-card" buying burlap to camoufage your rifle.  Test:  have a friend lay down a sprayed camo rifle 15 - 20 yards away in tall grass/weeds.  Do the same with a burlapped camo rifle.  See which one you spot first.  Giggedy, giggedy, almost invisible... There's an old saying that probably applies here: "Two is one and one is none".  Given that yup I believe a backup or at least a stock of spare parts (extractor, firing pin, springs, etc.) is a solid idea.

agreed. burlap and spraypaint are cheap as fuck, and you can get plenty enough to camo both of your rifles (once you get the second one).

Thanks i thought it was also a great idea and will probably get it in a couple weeks, my brother told me i was a dumbass for owning two of the same rifle but in a world where u cant bring it to a gun shop the person who has a broken gun will look dumb. Is the polish underfolder a good rifle?, it looks great in person.

Underfolders are junk dude, not that the rifle is bad just the stock. You can't get a good cheekweld on an underfolder without welding a custom riser to the damned thing.

What ever my buddy decides to hand me. He has two m4's, a ak, and some deer rifles.

Kobalt, if he's your, SHTF,  Bug Out or Tribe buddy, I would think that both of ya'll training with the M4 would be good for now, as there are two of them.  If something were to happen and you needed to work as a team, you will want to be able to trade mags in a fight.

But... if you buy an AK, then ya'll could chose to both train with that.

My thing is that it doesn't matter.  Just chose the firearm that you both want to use in SHTF, and then both of you just practice the hell out of that.

Also, if you're going to do any sniper stuff, both of ya'll can learn both the sniper rifle, and the spotting.

As far as the rifles, though, just pick one and train like hell on both using it, and working together to own some targets.

gotcha. you meant loaner. lol. I'm thinking "wtf, does he have a specific gun for when he's alone?"  :))

yea any of those options is better than my Mosin. the Mosin is pretty much the only one I have that I feel is expendable so it'll be the only loaner, sry sheep.

EDIT: I have two 12g's, a 1975 Mossy500 (the quintessential squad-car shotty) and a Rem870 that's just barely broken in. (the Mossy technically isn't mine but I don't foresee the owner taking it back any time soon), so I guess if shit got REALLY hot and it was 100% necessary that I arm as many men as possible, then I guess I could loan out the old Mossy. but no one fucking touches my damn 870 but me (and my closest friends and family of course).

Loaner: an extra piece of gear or equipment that isn't needed at the moment by the owner, gear or equipment owned for the purpose of loaning out.
