I got a Maadi ak with a slaint cut reciever. I want to replace the thumb hole stock with a regular stock and pistol grip. My stock has cracked 2 times in almost same area the 2 times i have went out shooting with it. Any one know were i can find some stocks that would fit it , i would like to replace the thumbhole stock with a standard stock and pistol grip. Any info would be appreciated thanks.

I havent heard of a maadi with a slant cut before, but anyway you can run a standard stock there will just be a gap where the cut is at but other wise it doesnt effect the performance.

like ga said, you can run a regular stock it will just look slightly funky, check out ironwood designs for a stock that fits properly. they make a wood stock for slant cut guns

Very cool I just wasnt aware of the maadi's being slant cut. But honestly man you really wont notice the little gap, people do it with their mac-90's all the time. Let me check if I can come up with some for you, what kindof price range are you looking for new furniture?

Um Id really like to stay below hundred bucks or lower, But I guess u get what u pay for. I may have to go up and get something a lil nice with price increase. Thanks for the help looking. Speaking of mac90s thats the furniture mine had on it from a mac90 thumbhole stock
