Curahee's video inspired me to pist this. I looked at this guy's channel and he seems to be a professional. Nothing real exciting, but interesting to watch. Only thing I'm wondering about is why their weapons aren't painted.

I would kill for that kind of terrain. Up here the brush tells you where your going to go. Your often on your hands and knees trying to crawl under brush using the coyote trails. And then theres the random cactus patches. And the brush isnt soft green leaves. Its sharp dark brown shit. Bassically a nightmare.

Looks more like my back yard. 8) That being said I want to point out two things. First off- Wise man once say "man who follows the beaten path leaves many foot prints." Number two, based on first hand experience in this kind of "jungle." There's a park/wildlife reserve right behind my house where teens like to wonder through to smoke. I can hear at least 300 yards out when they're moving through. Sometimes even further, but it's important to remember line of sight is not your only concern. Assuming WROL there will be a lot less noise interference.

Those dudes are high speed for sure, I really enjoy the blend of new and old.
It would be nice to see a little more room between the two of them and some 'taking a knee' during the the static slow moments.
In that environment a man in blue jeans and white t-shirt could all but vanish simple by laying down, do I blame the dude humping the MG for staying up? No, I don't.
That said I would hate to run against those two!
And to hit on WW's point, notice when they are quite as a mouse and moving slow the birds are making their usual noises? Notice how when they break branches and whisper to one another the birds quit singing?

I didn't catch that! Great observation. As I recall, the LRRP's in Vietnam would move using nothing but hand signs, which is standard practice now. The radio was for calling an air strike on the objective or signaling for evac. I hope to practice this kind of thing after school's over. Good exercise and very important.

Good video but I have to mention I personally have a problem with following trails and paths of least resistance like creek beds in most situations. Again situation dependent, the speed seemed a little fast and the stop, look, listen, smell, and feel pauses sparse and short. In that close you might not survive long enough to react to a contact that gets just a second sooner awareness of you. Put yourself in that situation mentally and consider what can happen in a "one thousand and one" count.

Oh, one other thing and this is really nit picking but I didn't notice enough checking & minimizing spore for my taste.
I really am nit picking here and need to say this video is a great learning tool and discussion subject.

I think they were trying to show what could be done.
But yeah for the record, winners run ridges.
All the sound comes to you, you can look down upon the valley, they have to come up to get you and you can always just bounce over the ridge and enjoy the hill being in your favor.
Not to mention that the wind usually blows the mosquitoes off the ridge.
