damn thats 2.6lbs just in ammo IN that gun. let alone the weight of the extra metal on that thing. so bassically thats a pointless home defense gun or its not used at all.

shotguns got 8rd max,
it only takes 1 round to drop someone and that thing has a very fast cycle rate
so basically your gonna empty your gun on one dude due to cycle rate or maybe get 2 of em
there is just no point in trying to get followup shots with a 12ga shotgun

two problems here:
1 - this is assuming that you're out and about with a 12g instead of your primary. why?
2 - ok, ambushed, return fire with a hail of tiny pellets with no momentum or penetration, break contact and haul ass... now you're hauling ass as fast as your feet can carry you while simultaneously fumbling with 8 separate shells because you just dumped everything in your "primary" in less than 2 seconds. each shell needs to be drawn from a saddle, or even worse, a bando.. (while sprinting)

not when your gun is empty after 2 seconds and it takes 10-15 seconds to load it again
suppressing fire only works when you got more rounds than cali allows
