Might want to replace one (or 4) of the knives with good multi tool.  I recommend Gerber.

Add a generic Atomic Beam flashlight instead of the Mini Mag.  I got one from Amazon for about $7 and the quality is excellent, reliability solid, beam brightness is 142thousand times better than the mini mag and battery life is much better with the 18650 rechargeable than any AA I have tried over many years.  Mine has Hi, Med, Lo, Strobe and SOS.  My halogen mini does not have a medium bright and spread/narrow beam is much better on atomic beam than mini.

yes the mini mag is not to good compared to my other light, that ones in the pack, sounds like mines like yours. I like the  mini because of my red and blue lenses I use ,black out capable .the knives vary, I do have a multi tool on the pack but its not visible.
the largest knife is a Sherade its 16.5 total length ,its  a 1/4 inch full tang, I didn't buy it for fighting its a bush craft knife I have punish tested it and it batons chops better than an axe. I like the Sherade knives, not pretty but highly functional. Not all of the knives are for the pack, I just added them for effect.
there's a whole lot more in the pack.
thank you for your input, hope to see you next time. take care

One item I dont see with that "assault pack" is anything for casualty care.  If you are willing to have more than 1 big blade and multiple lights and a significant supply of ammo you definitely need to add a decent "blow out" kit.  Your med kit and tourniquet should be readily accessible.

right now its in the pack with my gun tools and gun care.
its in its own molle pouch so when the time comes ill dump the crap and mount the rest.
your right though, first thing you learn in a.i.t is wound management ,ammo and a clean weapon.
thanx for the input.
take care.

Don't feel you need to run off now.  It was an interesting view and assessment and I would like to see what you have inside.  Fair warning tho, if you are offended easily this might not be a good place to hang out.  I have been known to be not nice to some on occasion.  So I hear anyway.  Not really not true methinks but you know how some guys are.

The exterior accessible ammo is good.  I like where it is.  Might think about one of the AR or AK style shotguns though.  Easier to reload with a magazine of 10 than a tube a couple rounds at a time.

The idea on the med kit is best.  I would put it on the shoulder strap or on a cross chest strap, right at the area where it would be easily accessible by either hand.  Hell to have to be figuring out how to get a bloodstop pack with a hand that cannot easily reach it, when you need to stop the blood leaking from where the easy reaching hand used to be attached to your arm.

heres the original pics i posted. (note) i wont be carrying all the knives,it was silly adding them for effect.
there's a lot more in the pack so ill post it in a new pic.my gear is all black but upon inspection you'll see what i plan to carry .in response to a member here.i was a door buster in the service and my weapon was a Beretta 12 gauge . it wasnt tricked out with telescopic stock or pistol grips.im more comfortable with a strait stock, its better to be on top and behind  the weapon and a pistol grip throws me off being under the receiver instead behind, ya im silly but im a creature of habit.
any way thank you all for the input and critique .

Grey/black cylinder object to the right of the black metal spring clip holding the 3% bar.  Its slipped down into a carry sleeve on the pack.  Most visible on the second pic from the top. What is it.

Bottom pic, light grey colored, looks like a cable for computer or stretchy bungee cord.  Behind clip on bottom left side, between Gerber and left rick of shotgun shells.  Same question.

Suggestion, when quoting a post for a reply, make sure you are outside the area of the [ quote ] notation.  Makes it easier to read and understand you.  Trust me, I need easy.

Thanks

the grey black cylinder is a collapsible baton which will be on my shoulder strap when needed,i think the cable you see is the tie string for the buck Sentry.

I thought it was a collapsible baton but it also looked like it could be a grip containing a one or 2 caliber pistol cleaning kit.

The other thing looks like a cable with a plastic connector on the one end.  It looks way too heavy to be a cord on a blade of any type.  It appears at least 3/8 inch diameter.  It looks like a heavy wire type thing large enough to be a power cable for a desk computer.  It does not appear to have a connection to anything else visible at all.

I hope that confirms what I am referring and lets you advise if I am way out there (again) regarding this.

In that configuration how much does the pack weigh?

Ok, a surge protector cord is it.  Good idea.  Methinks I must do some research/thinking/considering on this item.

And now, for the inside stuff-- Time for the big reveal.  Inquiring minds want to know!
