Title: Eye and hearing protection

 When it comes to shooting the biggest problem I have is the rifle hitting my ear muffs and shifting my glasses.
 I received an email with this ad.

What do you guys think about them?

Looks interesting and maybe worth a try.  But I do much prefer ear muff style hearing protections.

The ones you showed seem like they would make the glasses issue worse. Coming from someone who wears glasses always, those big pockets to contain the ear plugs will get in the way of a hat or are more likely to interfere with some shooting position. With glasses less is more behind the ears.

I am willing to spend to get good quality hearing protection as that is something that you just cant back.  I shoot with MSA Sordin Supreme Pro X.  They work great at allowing me to hear ambient sounds and communication while shutting out the shooting .  I have a pair of them stand alone and also a set on my helmet. In addition they allow me to plug into my radio for team communication.  I use them in all types of shooting activity and have never had a issue with them conflicting with my rifle.

 I prefer ear muffs because they can be worn over my hearing aids. With the Browning Sound Shield I would have to remove them and they are all to easy to lose. The MSA Sordin are way out of my price range.
 I was just curious about Browning Sound Shield because it looks like a good idea and would make a good gift to my step son.

 Yeah I learned the hard way about hearing aids.
