Going Dark

Hi all,

Gonna go dark for a while.

The election I going as I feared and other events in the world are making me concerned.

So I am going to go digitally dark for a while and concentrate on making sure mine and my own are OK.

Will get back to you when things settle and I know all is OK.

Oops...

Once again I realised I may have exhibited a bit of the flaky bit of my heritage here.

I completely forgot that I am olin the UK and that the messed up US election is secondary to my life here.

Ever since the Waco thing I have been hyper sensitive of US government stuff.

I am gonna keep in touch here through this scary time period and will keep everyone updated on how it is affecting the UK

FWIW, Gadget, a LOT of people I've talked to IRL and online feel something is coming.  Whether it's election-related or something else, a lot of folks are twitchy right now.   I'm not typically a paranoid person, but every time I check the news I feel mild surprise that there's not a massive-scale disaster being reported.
