hey guys i have a few questions about a commander i just picked up, i cant really find any info about it online. its a colt commander with a serial number starting with 48 and ends with a LW (lightweight), mostly i would like to know what year it was produced, and what you guys think about them.

Is it in .38 Super or .45 ACP? Rumor has it that some were produced in 9m however I have never seen one. Contact Colt archives via email and they can help you. It's a good handgun in either caliber.

its a .45, and the big difference about this gun it doesn't say combat commander, all the info i have found is about the combat commanders or the .38 super. i cant find anything about this one with the serial numbers starting in 48
