I mentioned this on the ERIN Phone net but not all Unchained Preppers monitor it so Ill mention it here. Most preppers have a code word that they use if something is not right, and they want another family member to be alerted. Oh, come on... The word Elephant sucks as a code word. The wife and I decided that if one of us calls the other by their middle name, then something is seriously wrong. In my case, she can't call me Keith (My Middle Name) because that's the name I use. However, if she calls me Page, which is my first name, I will know that something highly amiss. In her case, I can call her by her middle name and she will be alerted because nobody ever calls her by her middle name. Now, how does that work better than some other code word? Well, if the threat is somebody who knows both of our full names, then all they heard was true names and they probably won't catch on. On the other hand, if your code word is something like Elephant, Undertaker, Rabbit, or some other silly crap, the threat might easily catch on and make a move before you can prepare yourself.
