I see a lot of pontificating, pissing, bitching, and dick measuring about weapon choice, action type, caliber, and controls of various weapons here and feel that many of us are missing some important points.
I don't see any of that. Put it back in your pants please. This isn't a pissing contest.
Look people. I publicly apologize to Rah for that statement. It wasn't meant to be aggressive. I did say please. And I wouldn't be offended if anyone said it to me. (And about half of you f@ckers have said worse to me. LOL!) But Rah isn't me and he felt insulted. That wasn't my intent and I do apologize to him.
I do still think this thread was mostly guys toying with each other in a good hearted manner. And I don't think anyone was offended or upset. If I'm wrong and I offended anyone in the thread (other than Rah) please let me know. If you've been nice to me in the past I'll apologize and if you haven't I'll tell you where to go. LOL! Just playing.
Rah, I like you a lot you serious son of a gun. I hope you know that. You should hear what I say to people I don't like.
I appreciate the effort. I really was not terribly insulted, as I know that it's hard to get to know one another over the internet. I'm pretty serious about many things, and personal characteristics (such as a tendency to "swing dicks," so to speak) are very important to me. I only wanted to make it clear in our PMs that I try to avoid those types of situations. You and I are still good, Sledge.
Regarding the moderation earlier, I still stand by what I said. However, I also know that I can be very technical about things, especially rules. Technically, this thread really is about not arguing so much about the different choices in gear/firearms, but instead embracing the thought of "each to his own." I can see that you guys were competitively jesting, but in my mind it still isn't the proper thread for it. I suppose everyone sees it a different way, and that's fine. If Colombo isn't offended by the derailment of his thread (my primary concern, here), and the administrators are okay with it, then I really do not have a problem with it.
@TG: I DID warn you that I could be quite technical about this stuff.
I'll do my job as best as I can according to forum rules until admin says otherwise, and that's fine by me.
No feelings hurt here. As I've said before, it's the internet. So, miscommunication is a constant danger, it's hard to truly get to know one another, and thus more leeway is necessary than in person. That's how I roll. Now, please continue. I won't post more about moderation here. [URL=http://www.smileyvault.co
