We moved to a very small town that is not a flood plain (but would be cut off by any potential flooding) and the town actually has two solar panel arrays nearby. No bug out location yet but our 8-10 year plan is to move to the other side of the state and get property in the mountains. Bugging in is our best option between my wife’s medical issues and our daughter being a toddler. (She doesn’t even sleep quietly). But this has me thinking and reminds me of how lucky we got with our realtor when we bought our current home.
