may i point out in irony that there is a real life scenario playing out all across south africa at this very moment and has been going on for many years now that has relevance to this thread.
This exact scenario, the poor are moving into "richer" communities setting up impromptu shacks just to stay there.
No my dear friends, far deeper than this is a political game at play but alas, for the sake of this scenario i can first handedly tell you of the game a-foot in my hood.
Imagine this:
an ordinary suburb just outside of the inner bustling busy city outskirts.
Beautiful streets lined with tall trees, and yards large enough to build a big house and have a large garden.
Neighborhoods as old as the inner city itself, wealthy and common folk living among one another in relative harmony.
When in the span of one night 200 families from a "nearby" township are moved to a plot of empty ground (vacant because of unusable and unsafe ground) now holds 200 families.
We are about 7 months down the line and there are now more than an estimated 12000 people living there.
Crime has escalated through the roof.
everything from murder to Petty theft , car jackings, beggars, trash rummagers (20 or more in every street surrounding that area), drugs etc.
Every last neighbor in such shock no one can do anything about it.
Why? why move them here?
Well my dear friends, votes. A certain Political party(shall not be named) lost the votes in this ward and now need voters to vote for them, so what did they do? moved the voters here. slummed them in an uninhabitable area.
And caused utter chaos.
And they do not care about the consequences not just to the people already living here, but to the people they have now moved here. They cannot supply water or electricity to that area because the ground is unsafe.
So what happens next? they strike and close off the only roads leading in and out of the area because they demand basic services that cannot be delivered safely to them.
This is a pressure cooker scenario that will blow up at some point here in SA.
As for the scenarios created in theory of invasion into richer areas and how it can be applied by what i have told you here?
If you are living in a richer area my advice would be. GET OUT OF DODGE ASAP.
You will lose much more than assets if you stay in that area in a SHTF scenario.
From experience i can say this much, moving away from danger (in a country where there is no more safe places left)
Keepig on the move may be the only option you have that can keep you alive till things calm down.
A little more than 10 cents but use it at your own descretion.
The USA is not SA, so there your law enforcement can do more than ours ever will.
