Title: Appendix carry
Post by: JoJo on September 22, 2017, 09:02:32 PM
How do you guys who use appendix carry sit down? It looks great if you stand all day. Tell me how you carry and without printing when you sit. I don't have a CC Permit and am curious.

To me at least, Appendix Carry is awkward if you are using a full frame handgun. A smaller hand gun like a Glock 27 would make it a bit more comfortable.

I have too much "mid-section" interference so appendix carry is out of the question  :o  :cowboy:

Why not CCW?  Or do you live in one of the 13 Constitutional Carry states?

Or California/DC/other really really safe states you don't need one?

As far as appendix carry, I don't own anything that would be comfortable.  I had to sell them all to get meds, pay docs, groceries and all that.

I appendix carry an S&W Shield9.  I wear it all day, in and out of the car and in the office at work with no issues. It is comfortable. At times I will appendix carry my full size M&P9 or even occasionally my STI Tac 4.0. With these i generally take them out if I am going to be in the car for a while.  If I am at my desk it isnt bad, but if I need to do any significant physical work I will take them off.  I just picked up an M&P9 M2.0 Compact which is has the exact dimensions of a Glock 19.  This should be a nice balance that will be comfortable in most cases.

To help stop from printing make sure your holster has a RCS Belt Claw or something similar. This really helps to keep the grip tucked in against your body.
