Well the S & W I bought from a Guy Living in Georgia, with the heat and Humidity he was afraid the finish would not hold up, so he paid a shop about 75 to duracoat it and all,. seems like a good finish and durable, trouble is this was a collectable Smith 4 Digit # now it's simply a carry gun?? he knocked off 250$ value inthat refinish, i got a good deal as he did so, so I'm cool with it I don't collect guns other than to use them!!!
