Title: A good dilemma to have...
Post by: 1000meterstare on June 16, 2012, 02:49:01 PM
Inherited a 1903 Springfield in 30-06 from WW1 from my grandfather.  Has the original barrel, action, and kick-ass antique lyman peep sights.  Grandpa put a Monte Carlo stock on it years ago (the original just started giving out).  Want to put glass on it without interfering with the lyman sights.  Ideas? ???

Hey 1000M bitchen rifle. IMO a freaken classic! In the hands of an expert (like you) you should be able to hit 10x's at 500 meters every day of the week with that rifle. With some good breathing and let-off 800 meters.

I appoligise for not being around 1000M for the past month or two; just been involved with work and family. I owe you a call.......
