A man was floating along in a hot air balloon and he saw a man sitting at a picnic table in a park. He decended to about 100 feet and yelled down to the man at the picnic table. "I'm lost and have a dinner date with friends at 4 PM and its 3PM already. Can you tell me where I am?" The man at the table said, "You are 100 feet in the air in a hot air balloon." With that, the man in the Balloon said, "You must be a Lawyer". The man at the table said, "Yes, I am. How did you know that?" The man in the balloon said, "Well, I asked you a question and you gave me a lot of factual information that had no intrinsic value whatsoever." With that, the Lawyer said, "You must be a politician". The man in the balloon said, "How did you know that". The Lawyer said, "Well, you have no idea where you are, you don't know where you're going, and you've made promises that you cannot possibly keep."
