Nope i said fuck it and turned the heat up all the way and welded it again
So it can blow up a 3rd time? LOL
Guys, if you don't know, this weld has broken before when we were on the range. The amazing this is that because of the AK design, when the gun blows up, it does so in a way as to not cause any injury to the shooter or those around them. In fact, you could say it behaved perfectly, just as it was designed to.
GAP, we're gunna either screw that shit or rivet it, no more KABOOMS man! LOL
We are going to rivet our AK's for the record! None of this welding shit! [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at
you know, as much as I LOVE trolling the AK guys, I gotta give it to you, I think you're right about this one. and I was a direct witness to it. there was absolutely NO warning that anything was wrong until GAP said: "welp, that's it, it blew up"... inside my head I'm saying "wtf is he talking about?" and then he proceeds to separate the two halves... at which point I was overtaken with uncontrollable laughter...
(only because he talked SO much shit leading up to that day)
but either way, I can agree with what you said about the AK's design. BUT!! I must throw something else in there that may or may not spark a debate...
I was talking to mtn about this and he brought up a good point: AR's are like semi-auto pistols and AK's are like revolvers, a failure in a AR tends to be an easy and quick-fix (like most semi-auto pistols), whereas a failure in an AK (however uncommon) tends to be catastrophic and requires tools and a workbench to repair (like a revolver).
shitstorm in: 3... 2.... 1... GO!
lol
