Gravely Wounded Soldier?s Battlefield Plea to Female Medic: ?Show Me Your Boobs?

Pvt. Emily Tomkins is a British Army medic who received a medal of bravery this past week for her actions in Helmand, Afghanistan where she treated a gravely wounded soldier who had just lost both of his legs from a Taliban explosive device.
 
After initially getting a shot of morphine from Tomkins, the soldier begged for more.  When Tomkins refused the soldier more morphine in fear it would kill him, he looked up at her and said, ?Well do something useful and show me your boobs.?  Kindly ignoring the soldier?s request, Tomkins continued treatment and was credited with saving his life.
 
Tomkins explained, ?I was just doing my job.?

Poor bastard. Just curious, does morphine really kill pain to missing leg wounds? Dosent the blood need to circulate to the injury to work?

Considering the modern military, don't ask, don't tell, and all of that.  If the dying soldier had said something along the lines of, "Then do something useful and show me your dip stick" to a male medic, I doubt we'd even be having this discussion.

I haven't seen her. But I don't think any of them are "blow my legs off to see a titty" good. Maybe if she threw in the Hoohaa! LOL

She's alright looking, but nothing great. I mean if she was like a 34dd size 2 waist or something then hey, but that ain't the case. Reminds me of my grandfathers last few days. I think 3 or 4 days before he passed, health failing, the nurse asked him he needed anything.
