Title: Vinegar ?

I keep seeing where a prepper should store vinegar. I'm having a Brain Fart and can't think of its other uses I know I read it somewhere. Other than for salad what are the uses for vinegar?

Health, metabolism. Chemically cook meat. Season meat. Pickling. Decalcify coffee pot. These are just a few.

Picking veggies, making some foodstuffs acidic or enhancing it.  Making them effectively botulism proof.

Just google "uses for vinegar" and you'll end up with pages of stuff to read until the end of time.
