Trolling about the FB page of a site that rhymes with Roomsray Freppers, found a info graphics of a really nice two-barrel water collection system. Not sure who the original author is of this particular graphic, but thought it was something I'd share.

That is a very nice system, could be readily expanded to include a sand filter/ceramic too..

Currently holds 600 gal of rainwater. It can also be filled through a charcoal filter if we have a dry spell. This is currently though. As long as we have water supply. Still working on getting the water well done with a manual pump.

Looks fantastic TP! Can you take some detailed photos of your system?

Nice! I second the request for more pics. :)

Is there a limit on how many pics you can load at one time? I tried to upload 9 pics and they keep disappearing into never never land.

There are no attachment restrictions, I just uploaded a test post with 9 images without problem.
Your browser got unresponsive? You included some text besides the attached pictures?
Check the file size, maybe your pictures were too big and the browser couldn't finish uploading them

I will try again later with less pics at a time.

Here ya go.

Some more.

And more. If you have any questions as to how it was built or operates, please do not hesitate to ask.

That is a pretty neat set-up. Thanks so much for sharing, it's got my gears grinding away. What are you using for barrels and how many gallons does each hold?
-
They are 55gal food grade barrels from a soft drink plant. All together they hold a little over 600gal.
