Winter Field Day
« on: January 18, 2018, 08:28:33 PM »
Anybody looking at doing some comms for Winter Field Day?
It's next weekend for those who are interested,  and Winter Field Day bas a website too, sorry, no link here right now.
I plan to be out in the weeds on Friday Afternoon, just enjoying the cool and quiet,  and will try to keep my comms up from sunrise Saturday to noon on Sunday.
Hope there's  enough sun for solar to work!

Kbop,
That is it indeed.
I've never been a serious contester, ever, but working portable is a huge thing for me, especially in rougher conditions. Always good to know if you can make  it happen or not.
I joined SOTA a year ago, but SOTA in Idaho is tough, as most of the peaks to activate are on private land, and you can't get to them. Oh well.....
