Once again I messed up on this.  I checked my messages too early and missed the notification.  That's on me, my bad.  Next week I will just get on at 2000 Eastern.

Yep.... Me too. All I heard was Crickets. The band was open pretty good. I heard stations 400 to 500 miles away with no problems.

New member here.  I checked into the ERIN net a a couple of times back in the early spring when COVID first broke.  I had the 40 meters net taking place at 1800 and the 80 at 1830.  Have the times/frequencies been updated?  I tried to catch both this evening and got nothing - although I have a ton of noise on 40.

Thanks,

Calvin

Yea, JohnnyMac has it only on Sunday at 2000 hrs around 7.238ish. If there is nothing to talk about regarding the BS Flu, he sometimes just skips holding the net. I haven't heard anything there for the past couple of Sundays but I try to listen just in case.

The net can still occur without Johny.  I suggest giving a few calls on frequency around 20:00 hours ET.  If we're all aware of the net frequency and time, try it and see what happens.  We're so spread out, and with recent band conditions, it makes it difficult to have a traditional net.  Sooner or later band conditions will improve.  I'll try to remember to listen and call on Sunday.

As a side note, I understand there's a couple of hurricane nets on 7.246 MHz and 7.268 MHz for those that are interested.
