Here is the PACE for the February 9, 2020 net.

Remember, if a frequency is being used, search up frequency to see if the net has moved. Also, I will post on this thread a change in frequency if it happens.

The propagation predictor is attached to this email. As you see on the predictor, 20-meters will be 90% or better at 1600 hrs eastern from the Canadian/USA border to GA./FL border.

1600 hrs eastern - Mode phone     SW Radio Frequency's 1600 hrs eastern
P=  14.270 Mhz USB*                                    14270 Khz
A= 7.213.5 Mhz LSB                                     7184.5 Khz
C= Unchainedpreppers on this thread no need to sign-up you can follow as a guest
E= Text. If I do not have your number drop a dime and give it to me.

* Understand, that as we move out of the propagation doldrums 20-meters is really coming alive. I hope that 14.270 will be clear however I assume we will be moving up the frequency to find clear air. Stay tuned.

Rules of engagement:
1) Let the group know here using this thread, if you are going to be attempting to join the net. For PERSEC reasons
    DO NOT write down your call sign.
2) Net Control will be on the air about 15-minutes before the start of the net collecting early check-ins.
3) The agenda for the first round;
     > Any traffic you have to pass,
     > Weather update for your area,
     > Any local news that is relevant to preparedness that we all should be aware of,
     > Any help that you, family member, friend, needs, and

      It will be a round robin net starting with the first person who checks in and going around to all in order
      of checking-in, then back to the first station that checked-in. At that time we will go around a second time. The nights
      topic will be, A discussion of the nCoV-2019 virus.

      At the end of the first round, you can say, "73" and go QRT or hang for the discussion. It is more important that you
      have an opportunity to check out your equipment than to hang and rag chew.

      It is encouraged that if you hear someone and net control obviously can not, say "I have traffic for insert call sign here
      this is insert your call sign here". As an example: "I HAVE TRAFFIC FROM KA7FOX THIS IS KC3LRS". I think we all will
      be able to hear all stations this net but it is better to be prepared.

4) Invite like-minded hams that might like to participate.

5) Have fun!

Looking forward seeing ya' all on the air Sunday.

I am on 14.270 Mhz

If 20-meters doesn't work try 7.252.5 Mhz
7.213 has too many stations close and we are getting spill over

OK gentlemen.

We had a few on the Primary till we got blown out by a guy in California. Moved to the Alternate and there was a LOT of chatter so I worked up the band till 7.263.5 Mhz. One of ya' checked in there but that was it.

Thanks for all of you playing tonight. I am going to leave my rig on till 1630 - local. if anybody would like to try.

73 gentlemen. Thank for playing.  :cheers:

Great! Wayupnorth.

I heard Florida on 20-meters and TN on 40-meters but that was it. We had a few non ERIN/UP folks check in on 20-meters but then that guy in CA. came blasting in. I tried to hale him to let him know that the freq. was being used but he could not hear me.

Sunday seems to be a very busy night. Maybe we should shoot for a Tuesday, Thurs or Friday night. I am booked Mon, Wed, and Sat nights. :-(

Looking ahead to March 8th, propagation on all frequency's looks poor. The best is 40-meters at ~85%.

If you have a minute please give a signal report on the folks you heard.

Florida for me was a solid 5/7 and TN was a 4/9 totally readable just right at the noise level. Typically PK is solidly in there but not this month.

Again, thanks for playing.

I checked in early and had net control at 5-9. It was like he was right next to me, the guest check in was 5-7.  Then everybody dropped into the weeds.
I heard you call me on the alternate (7.2525), but I was on my nvis antenna so my reply never got to you.  There was a lot of qrm from a net out of SC on that freq.
That will teach me not to be so lazy.  I should have put up the link dipole (vs the 20 meter dipole).
