So... it's no secret to anyone who knows me that I am overweight and out of shape. I don't care so much about the weight, but I do care about the physical health bit. If the SHTF and I had to live off our land it'd be a damn tough adjustment to all that physical labor. Saturday I mowed our lawn - just a little area with a push mower, some weed pulling and mostly using the ride-on mower, and I'm moving like a 90 year old! Top it off with taking a tumble yesterday (for the record, don't try to grab a nylon leash as it's going past you as fast as your dog can run - burned fingers and getting pulled into the ground at what felt like 50 miles an hour is not so much fun) and I am reminded of just how out of shape I am and how I don't know how much I'd like a world where I couldn't walk into a store and get Tylenol.
So, is anyone else working on/interested in a joint exercise plan? I don't have weights and such, but I have a ton of land for walking and 50 lb bags of salt that I need to haul downstairs to our water purifier. There's always the
One Hundred Pushups program, too.
