Combat Life Saver (CLS) * GRAPHIC *
« on: October 31, 2011, 02:19:37 PM »
Ok, so this is going to be one of my more productive threads, figured its about time I put one out or people might start getting tired of me again.  ^-^
I was going to do a full layout of all my knowledge but then I found this handy little website with downloadable information. I have all these on file. I believe that you should too. If you do not want these on file, then scroll down to " Power Point Presentations " Click Save, then open them up from wherever you saved them to. It will give you an option to insert a password, Ignore that and select " Read Only " it will then bring up the section that you wanted to read. When you complete that, Delete them from whereever you saved them  then go down to the video's, if you want to save them as I did. " Right click & Save as or Save target as " If you do not want to save them, just double click on the link of the video you wish to watch. It should open your windows media player and begin to play as soon as it is buffered.

LOL.
I took the course myself. its definitley good knowledge to have.
I would love to have a CLS bag on hand.
Good find man.
Ive advocated in the past that preppers should at least take an EMT-B course.
This is the kind of stuff folks are gonna need to know in a SHTF situation.

Nice share Reaver

I did the red cross course and after that I wanted to continue learning so I got the PHTLS manual, for sure doing a EMT-B as WhiskeyJack suggest is better, but if you can't afford it or you don't have the time, reading the manual will give you great insight about emergency medic procedures and most importantly the WHY

The book explains briefly how the human body works usually, how an injury can damage it, what are the effects of that damage, and what can you do to fix it.
Last edition also contains a companion DVD with videos depicting the procedures, I have 6th edition and the DVD videos are not big deal.

Also you have two editions, the military and the civilian one, both books are the same one but military edition also contains a few extra chapters.
