Recent forum discussion has led me to pose this question:
What virus, once symptoms are presenting, has the highest mortality rate?
-
Rabies?
Pretty sure that's what I remember from some zombie documentary anyway :))

good answers.. good answers.
I'm gonna go with HIV/AIDs because my first guess is already taken.

Smallpox, though I also think Rabies is the correct answer.

Once googled Rabies is #1. I didn't know that rabies is a virus.
My first guess (No cheating) would have been the Spanish Flu. I remember my grandmother talking about the influenza of 1918. She told me as a game, she and her friends use to sit on their front outside stoop and count the hearses going by.
