Amen Felix. Sorry to read of your loss.
I think I reported on this when it happened; However, worth telling again.
There was an old ham that belonged to my club. For sake of candor, I will call him Bill.
Bill was retired from the Navy as a Command Master Chief Petty Officer. He spent most of his career in submarines. Another club member a former frogman (Now called SEALS) from the Vietnam era, use to call him "bubble head" Bill. Apparently, using Navy jargon, a bubble head was from submarines.
Anyway, this past June just before a club meeting, Bill pulled me aside and shared with me that he got his first Covid-19 shot and he felt terrible. He felt poorly due to the affects of the shot and being bullied by his VA doctor to take the vaxx.
The day of the July meeting he texted me letting me know that he would not be at the meeting because he felt awful. Now Bill never missed a meeting...NEVER. Four days later he was found dead in his truck sitting behind the steering wheel. The reason for death was due to a heart attack caused by a blood clot.
Bill did have asthma however, that was the only ailment this 82-year old man had other than being a bit gruff towards whiny folks. No heart condition. No diabetes. At 5' 10" he weighed 165-pounds. And was the most active 82-year old I knew.
Based on what I have read, this 'blood clot thing' has become a more popular way of moving on to God's embrace this year.
Coincidence?
