Title: X-1 Solar Flare Will Cause G3 Geomagnetic Storm Saturday or Sunday

There was an X-1 class solar flare yesterday with an associated CME which is directed pretty much dead-on at Earth. This will most likely cause a G3 geomagnetic storm Saturday or Sunday. The first thing I thought about was disconnecting everything but I'm 1,600 feet South of the 37th Parallel. I think being North of the 50th parallel might make me pretty nervous. :faint: :tinfoil: :hiding:
