When someone speaks gibberish you don't answer in Kings English you answer in the language they understand, gibberish. It seems we now have hawks without any wings, McCain comes to mind.
UN may be crazy but he isn't stupid. He and the Russians now believe President Trump is just crazy enough to carry out his threat as are the liberal progressives. Obama is no longer in office to bow to him.

Define attack. They might give their best and it would only amount to a cute firework show off the coast.

LOL Ken.
Attack could be an all out bombardment of S.Korea to a BIG Boom Boom on Continental USA.
Personally, I think it will be an EMP attempt. Anybody can drive a nuke into Manhattan and detonate it however that would not handicap the USA. Even if they did that in 3 or 4 cities all at once. An EMP would be the smart move on their part.
I still think they are acting as another states proxy. Russia and Iran have the most to gain by taking us out of the picture for 12-24 months. With us being out of the picture this would really hurt China economically.
-
It is said that they just miniaturized a nuclear weapon to fit on a missile so I doubt that their satellites over the U.S. are EMP weapons. Unless they were given some from another country. If so then it would be possible for them to reverse engineer them for missile war heads.

Looking at their latest missiles, they're definitely derived from Chinese missile technology. So, if that's the case, I would expect that they probably have all the latest Chinese technology, which would explain how NK was were able to relatively quickly achieve nuclear capability. The EMP project may have been a joint venture, with the Norks providing the missile and the Chinese providing the device. The Chinese would really like to eliminate our presence in Asia and the Pacific. They would take a short term economic blow, but a weakened U.S. would allow China to expand throughout Asia without any limitations, and they would quickly become the dominant world power. These are turbulent times!

I am not much fearful of a nuke missile strike or concealed bomb getting to any cities or even a missle born EMP strike.
What concerns me primarily is those 2 pesky nuclear powered satellites in pretty much (IIRC) geostationary orbit above us. Those could be serious coast to coast and about 2/3 of all satellites up there gone in one big EMP flash.

I vote EMP is the most likely on my risk register.
There are a bunch of countries out there that would look kindly upon NK if they did do this to us.
These are times of maximum unpredictable potential events.

This just out (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMyF7C-NrpU), in essence China just announced if the USofA attacks NK they will support NK.
Interesting....
-
I understood it to be if the US initiates a first strike on NK then China will back NK. If NK hits first, NK is on their own.
Just trying to make NK not do stupid stuff?
But surely leaves China as a major power player in the game.
