Hey, I'm feeling better already.  The dollar printed on paper is safer than gold?  Who would have thought?  I'm not sure at which institution she got her financial degree but I'm pretty sure that George Soros sits on it's board of directors.

Edit:  On second thought, this upcoming winter, a pile of dollar's probably would burn better than a pile of gold to keep you warm.  Perhaps this girl has more going on than I previously thought.

The "backed by the US Government" part is what makes me laugh every time.

This girl doesn't understands anything or has a well defined agenda, or both things...

Anyway I always thought what value could have gold or silver in a total collapse scenario, lets say "Patriots" book, the road, Mad max or something like that.

Precious metals are good to represent wealth but they don't offer much utility, so in a pretty shitty situation I'll rather have a candle than a gold chip, having useful objects to trade I think would be better, at least short term in a SHTF situation.
