I get a kick watching the TV about this weather event. In a way it is a nice but brief vacation from the up and coming primaries in Iowa, NH. and NC.

You would think the folks there had a hair of an idea among them.  The entire area went apechit last Wednesday when 1 inch fell on the area.  It was all shut down tighter than a steel drum.

But the warning and potential of everything, including metro rail and bus system shut down Friday until Sunday evening at earliest, gave no one any idea or warning. 

Hope it shuts everything down for a week or 2.  Just that much closer to obummer being gone.

Had breakfast at the local Cracker Barrel Saturday morning.  Saw a half dozen flakes or so.  First I have seen since the one lonely flake back in Jan 11.

I laugh at all those in DC who decided at the last minute to battle over a loaf of wonder bread.

i think the death count is up to 47 now.not sure of injuries thoe..a woman was found dead under some snow.and they think she died from a hart attack while shoveling snow..
