Cuban citizens protested on Sunday chanting “Freedom!” and “Down with the dictatorship!" as reported by cnsnews earlier this morning.

The U.S. State Department released a statement via Twitter yesterday.

Quote
Julie Chung - Asst. Sec. of State - "Peaceful protests are growing in #Cuba as the Cuban people exercise their right to peaceful assembly to express concern about rising COVID cases/deaths & medicine shortages. We commend the numerous efforts of the Cuban people mobilizing donations to help neighbors in need."

It will be interesting how President O'Biden and the MSM (Mainstream Media) respond to the protests of Cuban citizens demanding freedom from the dictatorship in power today. Especially when the current Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel, is calling for counter protesting to put down the freedom protests.

Stay tuned.  :coffeeNews:
