They found that the IL law violates the Second Amendment of the Constitution. They ruled that the 2nd Amendment protects the right of citizens to keep and bear arms and not just in the home as that would be "awkward usage". They stated, "A right to bear arms thus implies a right to carry a loaded gun outside the home."

the biggest thing in this ruling in my opinion a person has "A right to bear arms thus implies a right to carry a loaded gun outside the home." that's very strong language in favor of the second amendment especially in this state full of limp dick politicians.

Don't bet on it, I live here. But it is great news. We'll see how many hoops we have to jump through to obtain the permit once the legislation is drawn up. Fingers are now crossed.
