Just into the Unchainedpreppers newsroom, via HF digital radio, President O'Biden's nominee for the Director's roll at BATF&E, has been blocked from moving to the floor of the Senate by the Senate's Judiciary Committee.
It appears that not one Republican voted to approve Chipman. I do not know the full count of Yes/no at this point.
Sen. Majority leader Schumer, has threatened to use a
"Discharge Petition" to move his nomination to the floor. I suspect that this will not happen, as Republican and Democrat Senators will not want to have the fight and show support to further gun control. But, we live in interesting times.
