Argentina: limits foreign online buys to 2 a year
« on: January 23, 2014, 06:13:43 PM »
Another example of a government limiting someones rights without buy-in from the citizens of the country.

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) -- Argentina's government is slapping another restriction on online and mail-order purchases from abroad as it tries to stem the outflow of dollars.

Wednesday's announcement in the official gazette limits Argentines to just two such purchases a year. Purchases beyond that will be dealt with as imports, subject to more extensive paperwork. The decree says the limit applies to the official postal service, but does not mention private courier companies.

I can confirm that it also includes private courier companies.

Also today the gov devaluated  unofficially. In a year the Argentinian peso devaluated a 56,7%

The economy is going from bad to worse, we have a 30% inflation, the president has a 70% negative image and she has 2 years more before elections.
We are fucked, I dunno if she'll be able to finish.

The opposition sucks pretty bad too.

JM - Sorry to do this, but that's not on. A woman's hotness has NOTHING to do with her capabilities, nor should it be a subject of conversation in regards to said capabilities.  This is the kind of comment that objectifies women and degrades us into merely a receptacle for men's sexual needs/gratifications.

Special-K, are you asking me to believe that men are nothing more than cavemen, incapable of thought, discretion, intelligence or evolution? 'Cause that dog won't hunt. "Man" up and join the 21st century where objectification is not OK.

Wellie, I would like to apologize for my poor attempt at humor with our number 1 forum member in Argentina. I did originally have Hillary Clinton's picture up but then I thought that APX wouldn't get the joke.

Again, sorry to have offended you, it was not my intent.

LOL, it was just a joke, don't get your panties in a bunch.

I rather not speak about Kirchner president because "not being hot" is a kindergarten insult compared to what I and many Argentinians think of her.

No worries Wellie!

Our goal at Unchainedpreppers is simple. Freedom Through Self-Reliance. Our goal is to gather Liberal, Moderate and Conservative folks together in hopes to understand that the current course our government is sailing, is not sustainable and to help each other to prepare for the eventual collapse. For someone to poo poo that eventual collapse is living in a normalcy bias.

To keep people coming back I believe it appropriate to post things that are "snarky" to attract comments that provoke thought and discussion - Hence some of my resent post about the ACA, Inflation, PM ups/downs, police brutality, etc. The NY Times, Huffington Post, Fox News, and The Drudge Report do it regularly as does thousands of other organizations. It heightens interest and conversation.

Looking at the Unchainedpreppers forum history vs. other similar forums; It has not been allowed to post brazen sexual posts "for men's sexual needs/[and]gratifications." If it happens (And it has) PREPCOM always flags it and if appropriate, admonishes the poster via a PM and deletes the post.

Please keep in mind, it is human to joke a little in these serious times with one another, whether you are: Liberal, Moderate, or Conservative; Male or female. Bottom-line, we all want to see the best for the citizens of the United States of America, Argentina, and other global lands. We need each other - Period!

With that said: Hillary ain't hot!  ;)  :shitStorm:

I would have to agree with that statement.  Especially since Bill has proved time and again by his actions that she isn't "a receptacle for men's sexual needs/gratifications".  Sorry if my knuckle dragging offends anyones sense of political correctness, but then the "evolution" of political correctness on any issue has never demonstrated itself to be based on the facts of the true nature of anything.  In other words, its total crap spread across the surface of any issue.

That said, women have many wonderful superior natural abilities and talents that spread across entire spectrums which most men do not.  And vice versa.  That is why the saying that it "Takes Two To Tango"  applies in most cases whether you're talking about dancing, life, or gratification.

The situation in Argentina reminds me of the canary in the coal mine.  I'm sure that the folks in Argentina as thinking. "WTF, I don't want to be your damn canary."
