Can't believe this happened again.
Also, it seems like S.W.A.T. teams are getting bigger and bigger these days.

hate to play devil's advocate, but I doubt even CCW would have helped in this scenario. in order for CCW to work, there has to be a clear and present danger for anyone carrying to first notice, then identify, then engage. according to the Fox article, the guy blew away a campus cop out of nowhere, and then ran away, where they later found another body. then the dude disappears.
now, CCW CERTAINLY could have prevented at least 30 or 31 out of the 32 total deaths in the previous VT shooting, because that guy was just out in the fuckin open dumping mags at people. in fact, to this day, I've always wished that one of those VT students would have been ILLEGALLY carrying on campus that day in '07 and effectively stopped the threat. that would have really made a solid case for campus carry. (as if there isn't enough of a case already, but that one would have been hard for even a libturd to deny)

Yeah, when I think about it you're right. Just seems that when most of these shootings happen it's at a place where one cannot carry a firearm, or in very limited capability.
Either way, may the Officer who was slain today rest in peace.

no argument there. you're 100% correct. I still don't think CCW would have helped this particular incident, BUT, maybe if VT allowed CCW then this shitbag would have thought twice about doing what he did and maybe it never would have happened in the first place.

just a thought:
who wants to place bets on the shooter being caught in the near future, and turns out to be some kind of a "right wing extremist" who has "grievances with the government"...?

Gunman found dead.

Huh? Sounds to me this was Merely a test of their " High Tech " systems.
This whole thing smells very fucking fishy to me, I don't like it.
