Title: To Protect and Serve -- The State

An interesting read on where the concept of "police" came from and why it is not their responsibility to protect your life or property.

great read i have dozens of stories on how leos have just not done the right thing. I feel the law enforcement has lost the since of community and that is the most important tool they have.

I agree.  Unfortunately I think many of them don't even realize they need the community.  Community and being a Peace Officer are no longer taught to them.  They are taught to enforce laws, hence now they are Law Enforcement.  If that wasn't bad enough there is a problem with police even knowing what the laws are.  There are so many laws on the books there is no way they can be up to date on all them.  That's why you see those videos where they are quoting laws that are incorrect or don't actually exist in the way they are attempting to enforce them.

Perhaps rather than trying to memorize law books they should take a short cut.  Just memorize the Constitution of the United States.  That would answer most of the questions in any state as to whether a law they are trying to enforce is actually legit.

But I suppose it's easier to just put on jack boots for those cops that are psychopathic.

Good article, I've read similar things before, it shocking to most sheeple and they refuse to believe it.  Well believe it people.

They are now Law Enforcement Officers and there are very few Peace Officers among the group now.  Very few.  Its the way they are trained now.
