I would be concerned about it if I still had anything on the list.  Its a shame but I had to sell all of them to pay some medical bills.  Hate that.

Its going nowhere.  But calls to be made.

If you need a second magazine, its time to call in air support.

God created Man, Col. Sam Colt made him equal, John Moses Browning turned equality to perfection, Gaston Glock turned perfection into plastic fantastic junk.

Unfortunately this Bill was sponsored by the resident AssHat from my state.  He now represents us in Washington after doing his best to destroy Providence where he was mayor.

Ironically by being very specific about the brands and models of the rifles that are listed it probably leaves a loophole so wide you can drive a truck through. His main characteristics are based off of mainly cosmetic items or completely mis-state the pupose of the feature (telescoping stocks to make concealment easier not to allow for better fit to the shooter). It also directly ignores the facts that were presented at the time the last AWB was allowed to sunset. Specifically that the previous AWB had NO effect on reducing crime.

I really dont see this Bill actually getting anywhere......lets hope!

Yeah I doubt this makes it out of committee. BUT, if the D's ever regain majority, it'll be back I'd suppose or some variant thereof because now the "rough draft" is done. It's a cut and paste.

One thing though, it's listed ALL the sponsors so far. I haven't read them all, just scrolled down to the one from TN, Memphis area. I would hope, for some at least, that signing on as a sponsor of this will become their downfall.

Based on recent events within the USofA gun ownership is going through the roof. With that rise in ownership comes a renewed realization what the Second Amendment to the BOR means for the average citizen.

Just this morning I was watching FOX NEWS and a female author explained to the commentators that she is going out to buy a handgun and receive training to use it. She said something to the affect, "I would never have thought of buying a gun in the past but I feel I need to do so to protect my family and myself."

Now of course we are not talking about a Ugly Black Rifle which is the theme of this thread; however, once you start restricting things people will dig their heels in.
