Longtime Clinton insider Sidney Blumenthal claims that a group of “right-wing agents” in the FBI staged a coup d’etat to prevent Hillary Clinton from behind elected president.

Blumenthal, a former journalist who has been nicknamed “Grassy Knoll” by some in Clintonworld because of his tendency to latch on to conspiracy theories, made the charge in an interview on Dutch television after Clinton’s loss to Donald Trump.

“It was the result of a cabal of right-wing agents of the FBI in the New York office attached to Rudy Giuliani, who was a member of Trump’s campaign,” said Blumenthal, who emailed frequently with Clinton while she was secretary of state.

“I think it’s not unfair to call it a coup,” added Blumenthal, who served in the Bill Clinton White House aide and was said to be an informal adviser to Hillary Clinton.

“A coup, even?” the interviewer asked.

“Yeah, a coup d’etat,” said Blumenthal.

With that written, I do believe that the NYC office of the FBI was behind the pressuring of Dir. Comey to do what he did 10 days before the election.

There is a lot of noise about the interwize and among the talking-heads on TV as to whether Mr. Obama will pardon Mrs. Clinton.

I do not think he will or can as she hasn't been indicted and/or convicted of anything. Maybe we will see a quick indictment of her for the email/server deal so he can pardon her.

Then we have the ongoing Clinton Foundation investigation. Maybe we might see an indictment, then a Grand Jury however, that will not happen till 2017 post Trump's inaugural.

if i read the constitution correctly, he just has to sign it while in office.  The Pres. doesn't have to wait until a conviction.  couldn't he just sign one and pre-pardon Hilly?

KBOP is right. Nixon was pardoned before any charges were filed. Hillary is pretty much bulletproof as far as prison is concerned. The Presidents family has lifetime Secret Service protection. I hardly think they will have Secret Service people protecting her in prison. She is waaaaay more valuable to Trump as a Bargaining chip. He can get the Dems in Congress to go along to get along if he promises to leave her alone as long as she goes away and stays away.

hiLIARy is bulletproof as far as indictment, trial or jail.  Even if an indictment got requested AG Lynch would not approve it and if filed she would likely step in to withdraw it. 

If some AAG somewhere did that he would be unemployed and likely unemployable.  Depending on what state bar card he had there could be an issue.  Whether it was real or a created situation.

If it did get submitted and issued by the grand jury Lynch would squash it and if she could not obummer would give the pardon.  I suspect obum is waiting as long as he can before signing a pardon.    About the only way hiLIARy could get caught is if prez and vp are both killed quickly.  That happens Speaker of House Ryan would become prez and I doubt he would be open to signing a pardon for hiLIARy.

Assuming nothing happens prior to 20 Jan, I will bet $10 to a dime that obummer signs a pardon and leaves on his the Resolute Desk just before he gets on his coat to ride down for swearing in.  I suspect it is already prepared and in the envelope.
