President Obama "Economy Good!"

June 1, 2016 President Obama spoke to how he is receiving little to no credit for how good the economy is. He blamed it on the bad press he receives from Fox News and Conservative radio.

I found the below graphs on Zerohedge to try and explain to Mr. Obama if his handlers let him see them, that in fact his statements were disingenuous at best more like an out right lie.

Just saw a report on Fox News.  Jobs created last month-- 38,000.  Needed to maintain or expand the economy-- 200,000.  Unemployment rate-- 4.7%, real rate including those who have stopped seeking employment--9.7%.

Its all how you gin up the numbers.  Thats how you make obummer a great prez.

What I don't understand is if 95,000,000 Americans dropped out of the work force and there are 330,000,000 Americans how could the unemployed work force only be +-5 %? :faint: :sarcasm:

The 4.7% is a U3 unemployment rate.

U3 unemployment rate is: "Official unemployment rate per the ILO definition occurs when people are without jobs and they have actively looked for work within the past four weeks".
