Tea Party Members Attacked By Unions in Lansing, MI
« on: December 12, 2012, 08:54:34 AM »
Apparently Tea Party members where attacked by union goons while exercising "their" First Amendment yesterday in Lansing, MI.

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/12/11/Arrest-This-Man-Obama-s-Union-Goons-Unleash-Violence-in-Michigan

Quote
...In this case, the connection with Obama is direct. He went to Michigan to encourage the unions and oppose the state government; the unions turned out to protest and attacked those who had come to support the right-to-work legislation. In addition to the assault on Crowder, union members tore down a tent that had been pitched by Americans for Prosperity; Breitbart News' Lee Stranahan captured the union members' attack as the tent collapsed, with people inside, as union marshals looked on...

I haven't been tooned in  for a while either Johny but as a Union man who can't find Union work because of their fucking blacklist I would love to have been there...

Less than 100 years and they sold out. Not just a little either.

rotlmao!

That is some funny shit JM. Sure Steven Crowder wades into a union demo with cameras in tow, acts and asks provocative questions, and expects to be showered with rose petals. Oh poor me.... what a douchebag. I half expected Steven Colbert to show up and save the day.

Sorry Crudos I do not know who Steven Crowder is. I did hear his name on The Five last night but that is all. They were commenting on the Tea Parties tent being torn down and fists flying and Crowder catching it on film.

Steven Crowder

As ?FoxNews? brightest, funniest young Conservative mind,? Steven Crowder is a mainstay in the worlds of television, comedy and writing.

Translated, what better way to make a name for yourself in the Conservative punditry field. Btw, why was there a tea party tent in the middle of a union demo? Seems a bit odd to me.

I would strongly urge folks to google, "Conservative Entertainment Complex." And see and hear all those who yell and scream the loudest about the ills of our nation, aren't really about changing the nation for the better, nor finding policies that will help all of us, but rather find new and exciting ways to extract cash from your pocket.

1) First Amendment, Ahhhh
2) Michigan citizen who wanted to give input on a bill, or
3) Patriot?

I love ya' like a brother Crudos; however, I went to the RI Anti-"Christmas Tree" lighting in Providence last year. I supported calling 'it' a Christmas Tree and was there to express my opinion. Although I wasn't attacked physically; there were a few choice words thrown in my direction - Mostly by Brown University students.  [img]http://www.arrse.co.uk/at

I just don't get it...Why can X express their opinion but Z can not?

I know I have told this story before. I was at my future in- laws house preparing to eat dinner watching the nightly local news.

The local broadcast showed a story of a KKK march somewhere in Western Philly; when my father in-law said. (a heavy rail road union guy), "I can't believe that they don't stop 'those people' from marching." I said to him..."I do not support the beliefs of the KKK however I do support them marching...It's called the First Amendment."

Well now...I got MAJOR STINKY EYE from my soon to be wife! Later on she told me she agreed with my sentiment Butttttt.  :))

I have nothing solid yet, but been hearing the whole tent fiasco was just a stunt. Members of the group who's tent it was, pulled it down in order to make it look like union thugs were rampaging all over the place. The whole video seemed very contrived. Would love to see the much more of the video than the short clip on Brietbarf to for better context. Put a bunch of loudmouthed Tea Party folks and a bunch of loudmouthed Union folks, set up a camera, and watch the fun. Miss the good old days when reporters, reported, not intentionally becoming part of the story.

Different view of the events in Michigan....

http://www.eclectablog.com/2012/12/breaking-americans-for-prosperity-stages-phony-altercation-at-michigan-right-to-work-rally.html

Anything connected to FoxNews is usually not as it seems. Just saying, do your own research.

During the Wisconsin protests, FoxNews showed a clip of a cop on horseback beating a protestor supposedly at the demonstrations. Except for the fact in the background was a palm tree and coconuts. Been in Wisconsin for a longtime, and never seen a palm tree growing around the capitol. FoxNews doesn't report, it creates by any means necessary.

So you use one leaning political site to counter another?  I don't know who is more full of shit but I tend to believe that both parties involved are not lacking of any!

It's not easy to find facts, amid massive piles of shit out there, but gotta start somewhere man.

I honestly dont care who pissed on who's tent... its so small and unimportant. So one guy kicked over another guys tent and they belong to seperate parties.. Thats something cops wouldnt even role out on. Let me know when they start shooting. They make it seem like its obama and romney fist fighting. its just a handfull of random nobodies in an altercation...big whoop.

First...I think I banged her in college. She stank and she kept saying, "Oh give it to me Mao...Give it to me!"

http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ly80pgYce41r0p443.jpg

What happened in Lansing is nothing compared to a few other protests of the past like the Bonus Army...

Quote
...At 4:45 p.m., commanded by Gen. Douglas MacArthur, the 12th Infantry Regiment, Fort Howard, Maryland, and the 3rd Cavalry Regiment, supported by six battle tanks commanded by Maj. George S. Patton, formed in Pennsylvania Avenue while thousands of civil service employees left work to line the street and watch. The Bonus Marchers, believing the troops were marching in their honor, cheered the troops until Patton ordered the cavalry to charge them?an action which prompted the spectators to yell, "Shame! Shame!"
Shacks that members of the Bonus Army erected on the Anacostia Flats burning after the confrontation with the military.

After the cavalry charged, the infantry, with fixed bayonets and adamsite gas, an arsenical vomiting agent, entered the camps, evicting veterans, families, and camp followers. The veterans fled across the Anacostia River to their largest camp and President Hoover ordered the assault stopped. However Gen. MacArthur, feeling the Bonus March was a Communist attempt to overthrow the U.S. government, ignored the President and ordered a new attack. Fifty-five veterans were injured and 135 arrested.[11] A veteran's wife miscarried. When 12-week-old Bernard Myers died in the hospital after being caught in the tear gas attack, a government investigation reported he died of enteritis, while a hospital spokesman said the tear gas "didn't do it any good..."

I do believe that this was the LAST Calvary charge in the US of A. After this all Army horses and Mules were euthanized. That's killed for you Barry supporters.

As a side note: One of Patton's childhood mentors was John Mosby; AKA The Grey Ghost.
