If you look at the country a decade ago, comparing gun restrictions then to now, we have come so far in such a short span of time. The NRA's financial muscle helps, but they oppose certain kinds of gun rights too (for instance, in Georgia, one year they had a member oppose campus carry - wtf, NRA?). The real influential organizations are the groups like GeorgiaCarry.Org and Texas State Rifle Association. They're the ones who really influence state citizens and local politicians to step up to the plate and hit a few for freedom. If you have one in your state, even if you already have constitutional carry, you need to support its continued work and existence. It's a constant battle.
