Third GOP Debate

Well I have been busier than a one armed paper hanger of late and have not been contributing much to this lustrous forum. I still have nothing to contribute much in the way of prepping but I do want to speak to last nights GOP debate on CNBC.

IMO, CNBC proved the general feeling out there that the MSM (Main Stream Media) carries the water for the left wing of the Democrat party. Not Blue Dog Democrats mind you - Progressive Democrats.

To continue with my thoughts: The "donor class" of the GOP does not want Carson, Cruz, Fiorano, Paul or Rubio to win the GOP primary. The donor class runs Washington DC and they are afraid of loosing their power. For all intents and purposes if one of the aforementioned primary candidates does not represent the GOP in the 2016 Presidential election, the Republican Party is dead. 

I am against any man or women who is running to be the GOP candidate that says, "I will manage government better than the previous administration." They are immediately off my list. I don't want the $19T debt and DC to be managed better. I want it made smaller.

In closing, I can see that we (The global we) are at the "cliff of doom." War is inevitable (Russia, China, Iran, Israel, ISIS, etc). An economic tsunami is about to come crashing down on all global economies. And here at home in the USofA we are about to see domestic terrorism that will make what happened in 1968 look like child's play. This is probably the endgame in EU too, with the invasion of military aged male Muslims to their shores.

Your thoughts?

As far as Cruz, Paul or Rubio, I think the big interests would hold their nose and try to point them in the right directions but following and bending them as much as possible in the big interests direction.

CNBC I submit is nearly indistinguishable from MSNBC and 2 days from now no one will realize the difference and it was not the standard "Move Forward" MSNBC that did it.  Although they will get the credit or blame for it.

CNBC and by reflection MSNBC and NBC in general now have about no credibility among anyone who has half a lick of sense and are anywhere near the left center on the spectrum.  The moderators were unprepared and unqualified.  The candidates were able to generally show them a general unity and how bad the mods were.

Rubio put the kibosh on Bush when Bush tried to do the missed vote, not representing, should resign smackdown of Rubio.  He knew it was coming, was prepped and waiting for it and caught Bush in a big trap.

Bush needed a solid win but no one thinks any more of him now than yesterday. Its only that he is a nice guy.  As many other analysts have commented.  He is out of the running.  This debate was his make or break point.

Cruz was great with his beat up on mods generally and how they tried the Trump is comic villian, Rubio is absent too much, Kasich should insult more and all that.  Side note, anyone read or see or know Cruz is basic auditory xerox. He hears it, he remembers it and can quote it years down the road.  Be careful what you discuss with him.

Christie got the win with the comment on Bush regarding the Fantasy Football and then on the the mod with the even in NJ that would be rude.

As far as what they say, I don't really care much about that part, as long as they do not say, I support hiLIARy or I am a democrat I can go with them.

I might have to vote against the other more than in support of the one running.  I may have to put the clothespin on my nose a mile away from the poll and flip that lever with rubber gloves on, while holding and reaching the lever with my hiking staff, but I can vote against hiLIARy or Sanders.

No matter which or what, get that extra jar of peanut butter.

Interesting stuff Nemo.

I like many people live with the fantasy that one women or man will ride in on their white steed and save us all from what lays ahead. Nothing can save us. Babylon's around the world will come crashing down when the good Lord deems it so.

Trump, Cruz, Carson in that order. Trump has the smarts and owns alot of politicians (donations). He also has the balls for foreign affairs. Cruz is a true Tea Partyier and I don't think the RINO's can control him.
Carson also is smart and a true conservitive but like Huckabe wears his religon on his sleave.
When it comes to the Second Amendment I don't know about Carson.
Trump is an excelent judge of peoples ability so he will have no trouble picking a Cabnet (he already said Trey Goudy for attorney general), not so with the others.

The only thing that bothers me about Trump is his thin skin. Many people think it is a facade some folks in the know report it is not.

There is no current GOP candidate that I'd trust to run this nation. Not one of them can make government smaller, better, or actually work for you and I.

To Crudos point, I have yet to hear that "X" candidate wants to reduce the size of government only that they want to do a better job managing the current one.

Now based on some of the flat tax proposals, who ever is elected on the GOP side will have to reduce the size of government to meet the numbers they are claiming.

My thoughts? I have no business conversing about who shall rule you or anyone else. I have been reading about doom and gloom for almost 8 years. Everything fails on a long enough timeline so someday someone will be right by default. I know that all forms of government attempt to defy Economics and all forms of government will fail to do so. The more a government resists the laws of Economics, the faster they will fail. The more hegemonic exchange that occurs, the sooner the failure of that society.

War is the most counterproductive thing a group of humans can engage in. Even a society that is in fear of potential war, will see loss of productivity. They defend borders and stop trading with certain people. This hinders the division of labor and results in a reduction of productivity to the national level rather than trading in a more global economy.

Will major war be in our future? My prediction will be yes so long as the majority of humans engage in nationalism and both advocate for and support or actually do the enforcement of involuntary exchange with the threat and or carrying out of violence.

Agree. I actually wish Bernie Sanders would win so this ship will hurry and sink. If a republican happened to be in office during an economic collapse, 'capitalism' would be blamed for the next hundred years.
