State Department Telling Countries To Not Accept Afghan Refugees
In short - Like him or hate him,
Glenn Beck's Nazarene Fund an organization who helps Christians in the middle east, has raised ~$30-million dollars since last Friday. The money was raised to lease airplanes to fly out Afghanistan Christians from airports within the country. At this writing, approximately 3,000 Afghan Christians have been flown out of the country with an estimate of another 3,000 ready to go.
Before any Christians from Afghanistan can leave, their paperwork must be approved by the
US State Department and a prearranged country lined up for the refugee's temporary home. All the 6,000 refugees have been vetted and their paperwork accompanies the airplanes manifest to the
US State Department for approval.
The situation today -Beck's Nazarene team have been working the phones since last Friday trying to find countries these refugees can be flown to. Within the last 24-hours many of the countries that had previously agreed to accept the Christians have backed away from their offer. When asked why they replied, "Your State Department has requested that we do not accept any of these refugees."
Yes, our
State Department is stopping these refugees from taking off from Kabul, flying to countries that will host them, with all of this being paid for by American citizens.
If you are following this drama, and I got a few things wrong, please correct or add to this thread.
Opinion - There is no doubt in my post CCP Virus riddled brain that the
US State Department's position preventing these Afghanistan Christians from leaving the country is political. Political for a host of reasons but being at the top of the list is because this airlift was organized by
Glenn Beck of
theBlaze.
Trust me, if President O'Biden's administration is doing what he is doing in Afghanistan to US Citizens and our Afghan partners, why wouldn't he do it to you here in America.
