Looks like Sirius Radio has
suspended the Glenn Beck program that runs on channel 125 "The Patriot."
So not believing rumors I called Sirius Radio and this is what happened.
Called Sirius to confirm that they had suspended the Glenn Beck show/CHL 125 The Patriot. A Sirius Customer Service employee, David reread the media release. I asked him to cancel my 4 radios. He asked if he could put me on hold and I said, "Yes." The next thing I heard was a dial tone.
Called back and eventually got Sandy. I again asked her about the supposed suspension. She asked me if she could put me on hold and ask her supervisor. After about a minute of nice Sirius music I heard a dial tone again. Mmmm?
Called back a third time. I got Lorrie. I asked her if it was true that Sirius radio had canceled Glenn Beck and she told me,"What? I don't think so, let me ask my supervisor."
Before she asked me to be put on hold, I said, "PLEASE take my phone number so when you loose my call you can call me back."
Lorrie did, placed me on hold came back on about 3 minutes later and read me the aforementioned Sirius media statement. I told Lorrie that I wished to cancel my 4 radios subscriptions. She explained to me that her supervisor explained to her, that it was only a suspension and he would be back on in 3 weeks. I told her I didn't care and to cancel my subscriptions. She did.
1) It's a shame that management is not sharing with the troops what is going on.
2) All three Sirius Customer Service people were friendly but two of them need a refresher on how to NOT DROP
someone when placed on hold.
3) Lorrie offered me the rest of subscription for the year free - WOW! So if you want to save a few bucks on your Sirius
radio subscription call up and cancel.
I do realize that many on this forum do not like Beck. Like all talking heads, I liten and then do my own research. Sometimes what he reports is accurate and sometimes there is a bit of
. Regardless, because he is speaking out against Donald Trump other media out lets like Breitbart, Jones and Drudge are coming after him. I suspect the Sirius camp in fear of the Trump camp decided to hedge their bets and suspend him.
