Sen. Klobuchar's New Bill Cancels First Amendment

Sen. Klobuchar (D-MN) has introduced a new bill to the U.S. Senate titled, The Health Misinformation Act, which will provide an exemption to Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which provides liability protections for tech companies over content posted by users on their platforms. As reported by GranthshalaNews.

The Health Misinformation Act, introduced by Senators Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Ben Ray Lujan (D-NM), would create a new carve-out in Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act to hold platforms liable for algorithmically-promoted health misinformation and conspiracies. Platforms rely on Section 230 to protect them from legal liability for the vast amount of user-created content they host.

"For far too long, online platforms have not done enough to protect the health of Americans," Klobuchar said. "These are some of the biggest, richest companies in the world and they must do more to prevent the spread of deadly vaccine misinformation." The bill would specifically alter Section 230's language to revoke liability protections in the case of "health misinformation that is created or developed through the interactive computer service" if that misinformation is amplified through an algorithm. The proposed exception would only kick in during a declared national public health crisis, like the advent of Covid-19, and wouldn't apply in normal times. - Slashdot

This is to combat the current information coming out about the Chinese Virus and The Jab being forced upon Americans under the guise of a vaccine.

Today the health crisis is the Chinese Virus, tomorrow it will be guns. Then the next day "insert crisis here".

Isn't it interesting the party and organizations of acceptance - Democrats, ACLU, NAACP, SCLC, etc., are good with shutting,  Unchainedpreppers, American Partisan, Tucker Carlson, Jeffry Prather, you, along with others, up.

once they stop the comms they will be able to do whatever they want and we wont be able to warn others. Anyone who stands up for their rights will be labeled as some sort of "ist" and shamed in a way to prevent others from acting up.

Death by 1000 cuts is turning into death by 100's of slices or a few big slices.

we've lost a credible election process
we're losing more of our Rights daily

   Klobuchar and any other politician who propose laws threatening our Constitutional rights should be tried for treason.  If found guilty, hang 'em.  The tree of liberty desperately needs watering.  The nation has gone too long without reacting to all these foreign and domestic threats.  Politicians need to experience the fear of God and righteous men.
