Quote
The United States must locate the missing uranium and weapons-related technology left over from Syria's nuclear program before it finds its way into Iranian hands, LIGNET managing editor Fred Fleitz says in an interview.

Details of Syria?s nuclear program came to light in reports following Israel ?s strike on the al-Kibar nuclear reactor in the Syrian desert on Sept. 6, 2007. The reactor, which was about to go online, was destroyed in the strike, but the fuel rods were never found, and no one knows how much uranium, if any, may still be in Syria.

With the political situation in Syria deteriorating, the danger is becoming greater that these fuel rods, or the uranium itself, could be handed off to Iran or make its way into the hands of terrorists.

Now they're just blatantly making shit up.

Skippy, I agree with you. In the next couple of weeks there will be a whole host of these stories coming out. I saw it before the Iraq war after 911.

"they" will be working to get the American people behind attacking Syria.

I wouldn't be so sure.  Syria is just a proxy state of Iran.  It wouldn't surprise me if whatever uranium they had as well as their chemical and biological agents had already been turned over to Iran or it's Hezbollah arm.  Perhaps in payment of the support Iran has been giving Assad over the last year.

That might also explain why Russia is so hesitant to step on Iran's toes.  They are providing the support to Assad that gives Russia a major seaport of operations.

what a fucking fail this article is.
Israel already bombed Syria's only reactor capable of creating highly enriched uranium in 2007. It's gone.
As in non-fucking existent.

I hate media fueled warmongering.
