Two four star Marine generals have written a stunning op-ed in the New York Times which demands that President Obama veto the National Defense Authorization Act, a bill that allows the government to use the military to indefinitely detain American citizens without due process.

Charles C. Krulak and Joseph P. Hoar, both 4 star Marine generals, published the piece on December 12. The op-ed starts with a direct demand that President Obama veto the NDAA bill in order to protect our country from the ?false choice between our safety and ideals.?

It then gets into one of the most blatant anti American treasonous provisions in the history of the United States.

One provision would authorize the military to indefinitely detain without charge people suspected of involvement with terrorism, including United States citizens apprehended on American soil. Due process would be a thing of the past.

Some claim that this provision would merely codify existing practice. Current law empowers the military to detain people caught on the battlefield, but this provision would expand the battlefield to include the United States ? and hand Osama bin Laden an unearned victory long after his well-earned demise.

The generals then go on to cite the fact that most in the military have not even asked for this extreme new power.

IMO what "they" are really worried about are all of the military coming home. Just think of all of those Military folks that will be hitting the unemployment ranks. I think this article concerning the Four Star Generals is only the beginning.

Something here tripped my BS detector...Generals don't demand anything of the commander in chief.  And if they do, something serious is fixin' to go down.  So I dug just a little deeper, AND...

It seem that politicalvelcraft.org has grossly mis-characterized the NYT op-ed.

So where is the demand?  As much as I would like to find it, there is no "demand."

A more accurate description would be something like "voiced their concerns."

JM that video pretty well lays out what has been going on in our country.  The future of our country will be decided in 2012.  Somehow I don't think the totalitarians in the administration will give up power without a fight.  And I mean that physically.  They'll try to win by the ballot if possible by doing whatever is necessary to scare the American people.  They'll start a war, commit false flags, whatever it takes.

They couldn't be more visible and in your face.  They haven't secured the border.  Are removing NG's from the border.  Looking at setting up self serve border crossings.  Leaving the border wide open.  Yet DHS has the balls to petition Congress to fund more VIPR units and drones to monitor American citizens.

TSA security at the airports and the VIPR units they are setting up around the country have yet to catch one single terrorist.  I wonder why?

yes but some of them are pretty big countries. still i think its very interesting and its crazy that it doesnt get covered more.
